Things She Doesn't Know
1. She's got a Mommy and Daddy who love her more than anything and think about her every minute of every day.
2. Her silly Mommy looks at her picture at least 100 times a day and each time she does, she says "hi Sweetie" or "Mommy loves you".
3. Before her Mommy and Daddy go to sleep each night, we tell her how much we love her and that we hope she has a good day (since it's 12 hours ahead in China).
4. We pray for her every day.
5. Everything she's ever known is soon going to be taken from her. It breaks our hearts to even think about that harsh reality.
6. She will have instant playmates immediately upon arriving at our home in the form of 2 nutty dogs, one of which has very big, floppy, dumbo-like ears...instant fun for any baby!
7. Her Daddy is holding hostage a beautifully framed collage of her pictures that her Aunt Lily made for us. He said he just 'wanted to show her off to everybody at work'. That was almost 2 weeks ago and Mommy has since given Daddy a nicely framed picture in exchange for the collage. Mommy will probably never see the collage again.
8. She has a whole family and friends of her very own waiting impatiently for her to come home.
9. She has a beautiful room, all of her own! It's girly and feminine, just like her. She has pretty clothes in her dresser and plenty of toys and books...all just for her!
10. She is the center of her Mommy and Daddy's universe.

Hang in there! It's tough once you have a face to associate with a name. But, she is a cutie, so I can understand talking to the picture, I really do.
She's going to know all those things so very soon! Congratulations on finding your daughter.
And an auntie who is dying for her to get here so her auntie can live vicariously through her mommy.
Ohhh! Can't wait to see you with her when she "knows" all of these things.
It will be wonderful when you can say all these things in person once you have her home.
That brought tears to my eyes. I hope you are together soon.
You forgot #11...she has the bestest Mommy & Daddy she can possibly imagine!
Grace sure is a cutie...you must stare at those adorable photos all day! It must be such a wonderful feeling knowing she is yours.
