171 - The Most Beautiful Number in the World!

Okay, we've finally calmed down enough to type this post. Our 171-H came today!!!!!!!!

I would first like to thank Jacquie who shared the "secret number" to immigration with me. Because I was able to get through to Helen, the big gun, our approval was expedidted and was actually dated the 18th - the day of my call.

I really can't describe how I feel right now. I'm excited, proud and a bit overwhelmed. We made our way through all of this paperwork in 3 short months, which is so hard to believe. Everything we've done is for this one, beautiful piece of paper that we now hold in our hands. Next week will be a whirlwind of notarization, certification and authentication of all of these documents. I am praying so hard that we do all of this just right and that there are no problems. Any words of wisdom from my adoption buddies would be greatly appreciated. I am a nervous wreck.

To quote my wise friend, Jacquie; holy crap, I'm gonna be a MOM!!! Me = Grace's Mother, Mommy, Momma, Mom. YIPPIE!!!! This calls for chocolate!
