Overdrive

I know, it's been over a week since my last post, but trust me when I say that things have been a bit hectic around here! I began my leave from work early to get everything done to prepare for Grace, and it's a good thing I did. I've been busy with workers coming and doing repairs around the house, cleaning and organizing like a fiend, attending dental and doctor appointments, shopping, shopping, and more shopping, making lists, and gathering items for our trip. It's a lot, people. My biggest advice to those of you in the wait and think you have forever...you don't. Shop now. Begin gathering items now. Your credit card and your sanity will thank you. Sorry I laughed at you for being super organized, Jacquie. Making fun of you has bit me in the ass.

At first I was feeling overwhelmed with all that needed to be done and I guess I still do a little bit. But now I'm getting so excited that we are just over 2 weeks away from meeting Grace. How awesome is that? I feel like a kid at Christmas, and oh what a gift I will be receiving!
