Where's Brown?

We still haven't received THE Brown Envelope from China. We were fingerprinted the beginning of October and received our 171-H on October 22. Shouldn't we have received it by now? I know some families never receive it, but I really, REALLY want it!

Ours took closer to 3 months after receiving our I-171H. We got it late November I think. Our neighbors who received their I-171H 3 weeks *before* we got ours just got their brown envelope yesterday!
It took A LONG time to get ours. And then we got two. ?????? I'll go check to see how long for sure. Be right back......
Ok, 171 received 8/29. Brown envelope came 12/2. Hope that helps. So much time had passed I had forgotten about the darn thing until it showed up in the mail one day.
Kim, I'm DTC now and don't have the brown envelope either.
Hm, I hope you get it soon. But if you don't it wasn't that great anyhow. Heck, I don't even really know what was in that thing. I was all excited and ripped it open and then, well, uh, big anticlimactic letdown of confusing paperwork that I don't think we had to do anything with. :-)
What is the brown envelope exactly?????
