Take This Job and Shove It!

Today was my friend Cathy's last day at the firm where I work. Over the last couple of years, I've really grown to consider her a good friend and I will greatly miss working with her everyday. She is great fun, very much a contrast to the few other people I work with, and has been such a trooper in tolerating the adoption roller coaster I've been on. She's the one I would run to in excitement when we received an important email from our agency or received our authenticated Dossier back from the Courier. She patiently listened as I spewed off adoption terms and abbreviations, all the while cheering me on even though what I was saying probably made no sense whatsoever. I like Cathy so much that I can't even be mad at her for leaving me in the dust as she embarks on her move to the always-happening-fun-place.

Oh girl, I feel for ya. Our new boss switched teams up this year and I'm no longer on a team with my friends, I'm on a team of bitches and/or losers. It sucks. We spend such a huge chunk of our day at work. Is it too much to ask that we work with fun, nice people?

Bummer! I have friends like that, the kind that are so supportive no matter what. Sorry you're losing her at work!

I feel you pain. Hopefully you two can still keep in close contact and she can just become your "going out after work for a drink" friend!

I hate that you are loosing your friend. It sucks when something effects our support system! Glad to see that you are out of hibernation. I've been praying for you girl!!!

Hugs -
