Our Beautiful Daughter
It is with great pride that we announce the referral of our daughter, He Xiao Can (to be known as Grace Elisabeth Xiao). We received the call on August 15, 2006 while we were on vacation in Las Vegas. Here are some of the things we know about our precious daughter:
Name: He (surname), Xiao - first name (pronounced "Zhow", means small, little), Can - middle name (pronounced "Tsan", means bright, illuminating).
Current Home: Changsha City Social Welfare Institute Number One, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China.
Date of Birth: May 12, 2004
About Her Personality: She is very feminine and likes to wear pretty clothes and play with dolls. She plays well by herself and with other children. She especially likes playing on the playground. She likes to watch TV commercials and gets very absorbed while watching them. Her personality is quiet, gentle and introverted. She is very charming.
We are so extremely blessed and realize that all of the pain and anguish that we have endured to get to our daughter has been well worth it. We love Grace very much and cannot wait to travel to China to bring her home in the next 3-4 months. Please keep our family in your prayers, especially Grace. May God keep her happy, healthy and safe until she is in our arms.
