Cohabitating!
Here is proof-positive that the grass really IS greener on the other side of the fence! Grace finally took it upon herself to make it to the other side of the baby gate where the dogs have lived since we arrived home 3 weeks ago! She now pets and kisses them, gives them cookies and throws their ball to them! We don't think she's ready to live with them full-time just yet, but we're ecstatic that she is making such wonderful progress. Here was the scene at our house this morning:

Awwww. How are the dogs taking this new addition?
Wonderful! I've been thinking about you and hoping to read about a big puppylove breakthrough!

Double Happiness!
Love it! What a great step for all :0)
Cute. I'd love to know what's going through their minds. All three of them. :)
Hey, we have the same floor.
It looks like your puppies are curious about Gracie in the first photo. I hope she realizes how much fun they are and is ready to give them great big hugs soon.
One step at a time. Nine months later Pom Pom is starting to tolerate Olivia more and more. O hugs her and PP just moans. She's coming around though - especially now that O will share her cheese with her :)
Thanks for the update.
Soon they'll be best friends! Dogs always love kids because they share their food! ;-)
Oh, I had a feeling she would come around. How could you not, with pups as cute as those? :)
so cute! we also have a bassett and he's our baby's favorite toy. thankfully, the bassett doesn't seem to mind :)
That's so great to see! Soon the dogs will be trying to lock the gate behind her to get some rest!;)
What a brave girl! :)
Cute!!!
Our girls just love the cats. The cats? Well not so much love heading back the other direction but they do love the food that gets dropped on the floor... ;-)
Huge hugs to you,
Grace is just adorable,
Mary-Mia
